It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael J. Smith (Fitchburg, Massachusetts), who passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Smith and Genevieve Smith; and his sister Maureen Gallant (Billy). He is survived by: his children, Ryan Smith (Sarah) of Littleton, MA, Danielle Bouvier (Brian) of Holden, MA and Zachary Smith (Natalie) of Leominster, MA; his grandchildren, Ronan, Bennett, Harrison Smith, Elise and Anna Bouvier; his sister Linda Kalagher (Robert); his former wife Denise Howe (Dennis); and his close friend Jeff O'Neill. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Brandon Funeral Home (305 Wanoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg, MA 01420). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Camillus de Lellis Church (333 Mechanic St, Fitchburg, MA 01420).
