It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norma L. Hales of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Norman Edson and Ina Wallin Edson; her husband Roger Hales; and her brothers, Ted and Norman.

She is survived by : her children, Jessica Rafuse of Fitchburg and Neil Rafuse II (Carlene) of Dexter, Maine.; and her siblings, Faith, Sally, Paula (Paul) and Fred (Claudette). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Nature Conservancy, World Wildlife Fund or an animal rescue of your choice.
