He was predeceased by: his parents, James Scott and Henrietta Scott (Myles); his wife Melba Myles; and his brother James. He is survived by: his children, Lasonya Hall, Loretta Algarin, Michael Myles, Shawn Myles, Oscar Myles Jr., Elizabeth Graham and Felicia Myles; and his siblings, Aliza Higgins, Pearl Kilbrew, Maddie Howard, Jessie Myles and George Scott.
