Barry L. Sloane Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barry L. Sloane of Framingham, Massachusetts, born in Brookline, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Albert E. Sloane and Sarah E. Sloane (Locke); and his sister Judith Hoberman. He is survived by: his significant other Irene F. Sloane (Johnsen); his children, Michael (Cheri) of Barrington, NH, Priscilla "Cissy" George (Eric) of West Barnstable, Allysen Lynch (Edward) of Franklin and Brenda DeMarco (Stephen) of Framingham; his grandchildren, Jennifer Long (Jim), Derick, Kyle George (Brandi), Courtney Amado (Joshua), Brianna George, Julie Howe (Devin), Andrew Lynch (Abby), Tommy, Emily and Anthony DeMarco; and his great grandchildren, Matilda Long, Ryder, Hunter, Sloane George, Cole Amado and Ruby Howe. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home (11 Lincoln St, Framingham, MA 01702). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church (3 Maple St, Framingham, MA 01702). A burial was held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Edgell Grove Cemetery (53 Grove St, Framingham, MA 01701).
