With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barry L. Sloane of Framingham, Massachusetts, born in Brookline, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Albert E. Sloane and Sarah E. Sloane (Locke); and his sister Judith Hoberman. He is survived by: his significant other Irene F. Sloane (Johnsen); his children, Michael (Cheri) of Barrington, NH, Priscilla "Cissy" George (Eric) of West Barnstable, Allysen Lynch (Edward) of Franklin and Brenda DeMarco (Stephen) of Framingham; his grandchildren, Jennifer Long (Jim), Derick, Kyle George (Brandi), Courtney Amado (Joshua), Brianna George, Julie Howe (Devin), Andrew Lynch (Abby), Tommy, Emily and Anthony DeMarco; and his great grandchildren, Matilda Long, Ryder, Hunter, Sloane George, Cole Amado and Ruby Howe. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and other family members.
