Elizabeth Bigelow Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Bigelow of Framingham, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Elizabeth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elizabeth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Murray and Ruth Murray of Framingham; her husband Harvey D. Bigelow Sr.; her granddaughter-in-law Amy Kawazoe; and her great grandchild Louis Bigelow.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Sergi (Rob), Harvey D. Bigelow Jr. (Paula), Susan Bigelow and Beth Courtwright (Steve); and her sister June Johnson.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Church (105 Southville Rd, Southborough, MA 01772).
In lieu of flowers, Betty asked that donations be made to the Oregon Health Sciences University Foundation, Box 29017, Portland, OR 97296, or to Southborough Youth & Family Services, 21 High Street, Southborough, MA 01772.
