He was predeceased by: his parents, George Yeager and Mae Yeager (Drury); his former wife Rita; and his sisters, Fran Lynch (Dan) and Madeleine Simpson (Carlton).
He is survived by: his wife Alma Yeager (Picconi-McDonald); his children, John Yeager (Laura) of Culver, IN, Laurie Yeager (Ronald Cournoyer) of Charlotte, NC, Gary McDonald (Sharon) of Bluffton, SC, Jane McDonald of Framingham, MA and Nancy Mason (Kevin Stepanick) of Middleton, MA; his grandchildren, Benjamin Cournoyer, Nicholas Cournoyer, Allison Shetzline (Chris), Ryan McDonald (Katie), Thomas J. Mason, Griffin P. Mason and Megan Yeager; his great grandchildren, Brady and Ashley Shetzline; Liam and Carter Stepanick.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home (11 Lincoln St, Framingham, MA 01702). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. George Church (74 School St, Framingham, MA 01701). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. Stephen Cemetery (0 Fenwick St, Framingham, MA 01701).
