He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Freedman and Lena Freedman. He is survived by: his wife Betty Freedman; his children, David Freedman (Mary Lynn) and Deborah Woods; his grandchildren, Sam, Maggie Freedman, Miriam and Jonah Woods; and his brother Edward Freedman.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joel Freedman may be made to Jewish National Fund or the fund of your choice (with preference for Israel-related funds) at Temple Israel of Natick.
