John W. Burgess Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2025, John W. Burgess of Framingham, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Burgess and Elizabeth Burgess (Mary); his sister Elizabeth Burgess; and his brother-in-law Robert Monteith. He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa "Terri" Burgess of Beacon, NY and Amanda "Mandy" Burgess of Waltham, MA.; and his sisters, Mary Pothier (Gerald), Patricia Monteith, Catherine Graceffa (Raymond) and Lorraine Burgess. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home (11 Lincoln St, Framingham, MA 01702). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bridgets Church (830 Worcester Rd, Framingham, MA 01702). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at the Ma National Cemetery.
