He was predeceased by: his parents, Elliott Desilets and Margaret Desilets (Malloy); his son Jeremy; and his brothers, Stephen, Thomas and Leonard.

He is survived by: his wife Lucia (DeFilippo); his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Stacy; his grandchildren, Meri Desilets of Framingham and Chris Desilets of Los Angeles, CA.; and his brothers, Michael (Sue), Gerard (Mary) and Kenneth (Roni). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
