We announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Carmody of Framingham, Massachusetts, born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 6, 2026. Mary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her pet Kody; her parents, Joseph E. Carmody and Mary M. Carmody; her siblings, Joseph E., Paul J., William H. Carmody (Elizabeth) and Catherine M. Lenderman (William); her sister-in-law Carol Carmody; her son Luis M. Carmody Carmody (Melissa B. (Robinson)); her grandson Connor J. Carmody of Framingham; and her brothers, Rev. James Carmody of Worcester, Neil Carmody of Worcester and Arthur Carmody (Michelle) of Worcester. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, great-nieces, great-nephews and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Norton, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home (53 Beech St, Framingham, MA 01702). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Church (41 Brook St, Framingham, MA 01701). A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the St John's Cemetery (260 Cambridge St, Worcester, MA 01603).
