With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary C. Shay of Framingham, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph F. Shay; her parents, Kenneth Hanna and Florence Hanna; her son Michael J. Shay; her brothers, Mark, Richard, Michael and Timothy; and her husband Joe.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy D. Shay (Jennifer) of Northborough, James P. Shay (Monica) of Hyannis Port, Shannon Shay Hayden (Drew) of Hyannis Port and Joseph F. Shay, Jr. (Lauren) of Southborough; her sister-in-law Mary T. Shay; and her grandchildren, Samantha, Erica, Patrick, Carly (John), Timothy (Kelly), Hunter, Andrew, Tiger, Francesca, Sophia and Joseph III. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
