He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara McGinley (Hayes) and Franklin R. McGinley. He is survived by: his wife Barbara S. McGinley (Zeller); his sons, Stephen R. (Amy) and Matthew C. (Timothea); his stepdaughter Elizabeth R. Chuck (Lucien Noel); his grandchildren, Miles McGinley, Alexa and Archer Noel; and his siblings, Kathy E. Riley (Clair) of Santa Fe, NM and Daniel R. McGinley (Gail) of Tacoma, WA..
A burial will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Lakewood Memorial Park (30W730 US-20, Elgin, IL 60120). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of Elgin (256 E Chicago St, Elgin, IL 60120).
Donations to veterans' organizations and glioblastoma research are also welcome.
