Gregory Scott Sims Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gregory Scott Sims of Franklin, Massachusetts, born in Marshall, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Gregory Scott farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gregory Scott is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Sims and Lorraine Sims (Ballard). He is survived by: his wife Dawn Sims (Dover); his children, Anthony G. Sims and Faith Rita Sims of Franklin; his siblings, Gary Sims (Lynda) of Texas and Barbara (William DiSchino) of Walpole; and his pet Charlie.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (131 Main St, Franklin, MA 02038). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (1 Church Square, Franklin, MA 02038).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Franklin Food Pantry, 341 West Central Street, Franklin, MA 02038.
