He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry M. Slopek and Mary Marguerite Slopek (Hudec); his wife Pauline Slopek (Tibbals); and his daughter Laurie Slopek. He is survived by: his children, Debra Archambault, Jeffrey Slopek, Margaret "Peggy" Santolucito and Christopher Slopek Slopek (Margret-Mary (Burke)); and his grandchildren, Jacqui Delude, Danette Lebrecque, Alyssa Aquilino, Steffan Slopek, Jennifer Slopek, Jeffrey Slopek, Jessica Slopek, Michael Santolucito, Brian Santolucito and Nicole Santolucito. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home (325 Main St, Ashland, MA 01721). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Cecilia's Church (54 Esty St, Ashland, MA 01721). A burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at the Wildwood Cemetery (76 Chestnut St, Ashland, MA 01721).
