He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Veum (Bipin Patel) of Ronan, Montana, Holly Veum of Ashland and Nancy McDermott (Michael) of Bellingham; his granddaughters, Samantha and Madelyn McDermott; and his sister Hjordis Olson of Janesville, Wisconsin..
