He was predeceased by: his former wife Ruby Teng (Tan); and his sister Jiang Mei. He is survived by: his wife Yan Li Teng (Wang); his daughters, Phyllis Higgins (Jeffrey) of Franklin and Paulina Teng (Sean) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Ruby, Ella, Ryan, Rory and Aden; and his sister Jing Rong. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Franklin Food Pantry or Hot Bread Kitchen, an organization that creates opportunities for aspiring culinary professionals and food entrepreneurs. We will be making donations to both organizations in John's memory.
