He was predeceased by: his father Matthew Fontaine; his brother Bruce Fontaine; and his nephew Paul McInnis. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Fontaine (Coppolino); his mother Joan Fontaine (Langston); his stepsons, Eric Stefanik (Lindsey) and Jason Stefanik (Marta); his grandchildren, Kaela, Moriah, Nathanael, Jayden, Jordyn, Laura, Gabriel and Liliana; his nephews, Sean McInnis and Dana Gavel; his niece Nicole Gavel; and his brothers-in-law, Anthony and John Coppolino.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Hospice, or Alzheimer's Association.
