The memory of Matthew John Pantera III of Franklin, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 31, 2025 at the age of 75, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Pantera. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Vitelli (Joe); his grandchildren, Tobin, Emma, Jocelyn and Brianna; his son Matthew Pantera (Candice); his grandsons, Samuel, Benjamin, Nathaniel and Jack of Hopkinton; his son John Pantera; his grandchildren, Julia, Maria and Robert of East Longmeadow; his siblings, Michael Pantera, Martha Calabrese, Mary Aloisio, Meg Pantera and Margie Pantera; Mason of Milford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ginley Funeral Home (131 Main Street, Franklin, MA 02038). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at the St. Mary's Parish Cemetery.
In honor of Doc's memory, donations can be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, supporting the fight against Parkinson's disease.
