Monaghan (Franklin, Massachusetts), who passed away on March 13, 2026 at the age of 61, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Monaghan and Jean Monaghan; and his brother-in-law Harry Pappas. He is survived by: his wife Laura Monaghan (Volpe); his children, Evan, Margaret and Shane; his sisters, Maureen MacAdams (Gary), Deb Pappas, Jeanne Boudrow (Bill) and Nancy Scioli (Mike); his parents-in-law, Fran and Robert Volpe; and his brother-in-law Paul Volpe (Mia). He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, and due to limitations at the National Cemetery, please help the family continue Mike's passion for caring for children by making a donation to St.Jude Children's Research Hospital.
