We bid farewell to Therese Anne Shannon of Franklin, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 10, 2025 at the age of 84. Therese Anne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles W. Shannon; her parents, Francesco Caracciolo and Daisy May Caracciolo (Easterday); her daughter Eileen Shannon; her daughter-in-law Ann Shannon; and her siblings, Rosalee Duckworth, Francesca Strader, Anthony Caracciolo, George Caracciolo and Catherine Lippert.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Mannix (Jack) of Bonita Springs, Michele Gervais (Normand) of Sandwich, Timothy Shannon of Lewiston, Lisa Flaherty (John) of Wrentham and Gregory Shannon (Karen) of Bellingham; and her siblings, Joanne Barker, Joseph Caracciolo, Rita Smith, Helen Bevington, Frank Caracciolo, Bernadette Carver and David Caracciolo. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (131 Main St, Franklin, MA 02038). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (1 Church Square, Franklin, MA 02038).
