Ugo Ciannavei Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ugo Ciannavei of Franklin, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 6, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicola Ciannavei and Giovanna Ciannavei (Collina); and his sisters, Nerina and Rita. He is survived by: his children, Steven (Rosaleen) of Philadelphia, PA and Andrea Ciannavei of Los Angeles, CA.; his siblings, Nazareno, Luciana of Ascoli Piceno and Anna of Ascoli Piceno; and his pets, Meaux, Bea and Gus. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home (33 Cottage St., Pawtucket, RI 02860). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the St. Mary's Church (1 Church Square, Franklin, MA 02038).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ugo's name may be made to the Franklin Food Pantry, 343 W. Central Street, Franklin, MA 02038.
