He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Mae (Lang) and Harland Smith; his wife Joan Secatore; his children, Shannon (Matthew Costello) of Bellingham, Brooke Shea (Tommy Manning) of Uxbridge and Greg Smith (Laurie) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Jake Costello, McKenna Costello, Stephen Smith and Sean Smith; his nieces, Erica Kuharich and Colleen Paccioretti; his nephew Jay Brote; and his brother Bruce Smith.
