As Herbert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Herbert. Though Herbert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Millie; and his parents, Clifford Peterson and Brita Peterson (Mildred Peterson). He is survived by: his children, Susan Jones (Leonard Doane), Ron Peterson (Heather) and Bruce Peterson (Lisa). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home (343 Central St, Winchendon, MA 01475). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Wildwood Cemetery.
