She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Charlonne and Pauline Charlonne (Cote); her husband Frederick E. Hurd; and her siblings, Mary Lewis, Carolyn Haselton, Joan Ladeau, Sheila Charlonne, Patricia Dyer, Colleen Hardy, Edward, Gerald, Vernon and Francis "Bob" Charlonne.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene M. Thomas (Robert) of Gardner, Donna L. Casey (Robert Speed) of Winchendon, Frederick E. Hurd Jr. (Tina Scanlan) of Gardner and Mark E. Hurd of Hudson, NH; her grandchildren, Neil J. Thomas (Jessica), Alan M. Casey (Veronica), Samantha M. Thomas (MJ Clark) and Wade J. Casey (Kayla); her great grandchildren, Clara Thomas and William Casey; and her sister Marcia Charlonne of Brattleboro, VT. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc. (110 Nichols St, Gardner, MA 01440). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Boucher Funeral Home (110 Nichols St, Gardner, MA 01440). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (111 Glenallen St, Winchendon, MA 01475).
