Lorraine Mae Shepard Obituary

With solemn reverence, we commemorate Lorraine Mae Shepard of Gardner, Massachusetts, whose life came to an end on December 10, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Borey and Sarah Borey; her granddaughter Jennifer McLaughlin; her stepchildren, George Shepard and Betty De Ramos; her siblings, William, Leon Borey and Cecilia Richards; and her stepgrandson Roland Lemieux.

She is survived by: her daughter Mary McLaughlin (Paul); her grandchildren, Jeremy (Pam), Kimberly McLaughlin (Andrew Sturm) and Shawn McLaughlin (Brooke); her stepsons, William Shepard (Deborah) and Henry Shepard (Joanne); and her stepgrandchildren, Julie Croteau, Cassie Sundstrom, Marguerite Haines, Eileen Lemieux, Linda Cook, Kevin and Cheri Shepard. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mack Family Funeral Homes - Gardner Chapel (105 Central St, Gardner, MA 01440). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Annunciation Parish - Holy Rosary (135 Nichols St, Gardner, MA 01440).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N Michigan Ave. Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
