He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Goodness and Edna LaBonte (Stone); his wife Geraldine LaBonte (Newell); his son Richard LaBonte; and his sisters, Rita LaRoche, Myrtle P. Hoag and Dorothy Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald LaBonte (Michelle) of Gardner, Rodney LaBonte of Gardner, Darlene Bernier of Athol and Kathleen Maynard of Athol; and his grandchildren, Kim West of Florida, Jason Garner (Karey) of Gardner, Craig LaBonte of Gardner, Jeffrey Hullette of North Carolina, Robert Howlett of Gardner and Anthony LaBonte of Georgia. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
