He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Legere and Lina Legere (LeBlanc); his daughter Denise Maddocks; his granddaughter Nicole Borey; and his siblings-in-law, Bernard Allain, Velma and Lucille Leger.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Legere (Richard) of Gardner; his children, Yvon Legere (Kim) of Gardner, Paul Legere (Karin) of Pennsylvania and Claudette Borey (Bill Asbury) of Gardner; his grandchildren, Nicholas Borey, Jillian Lang, Eric Legere, Jocelyn Gamler, Emma Stianche, Ashley Reddy, Andrea Brisette and Arielle Petrucci; his siblings, Ronald Leger of Gardner, Alderice Leger (Raymonde) of New Brunswick, Robert Legere (Yvonne) of New Brunswick, Gerald Leger of New Brunswick, Stella Allain of New Brunswick and Maria Gallant (Armand) of New Brunswick; and his son-in-law Rob Maddocks of Clinton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
