With solemn reverence, we commemorate Omer J. Cormier (Gardner, Massachusetts), whose life came to an end on September 18, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alyre Cormier and Philomene Cormier (Boudreau); and his siblings, Dora Laliberty, Leo and Normand Cormier.
He is survived by: his sisters, Yvonne McKenna of Waltham, MA, Claire Fountaine of Fairfax, VA and Lucille Vezina of Ashburn, VA.; his children, Christopher Cormier of Gardner, Lisa Weiss (John) of Spotsylvania, VA, Timothy Cormier (Kathy) of Fairfax, VA, Michelle Cormier of Chicopee, MA, Jane Morrill (Sean) of San Diego, CA, Mark Cormier (Anne) of South Hadley, MA and Russell Cormier (Tina) of Wethersfield, CT; his grandchildren, Nic of Tyler, TJ, Alison, Neal, Connor, Jack, Anna, Eliza, Sarah, Michael, Regina and Andrew; and his great grandchildren, Whitley, Charlie, Theo, Emily and Noah.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc. (110 Nichols St, Gardner, MA 01440). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Annunciation Parish (135 Nichols St, Gardner, MA 01440). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (111 Glenallen St, Winchendon, MA 01475).
