With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Oscar F Despres of Gardner, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2026 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Despres and Elmina Despres (Roy); his daughter Nancy Gonelli; his brother Gerald Despres; and his grandchildren, Mindy, Scott and Katherine.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Despres (Cormier); his children, William Despres of Gardner, Gisele Wickman (Barry) of Gardner and Muriel Despres-Martel of Gardner; his stepdaughter Linda (Gerald) of Canada; his grandchildren, Barbara, Daniel, Jennifer, Michael, Patrick, Matthew, Jonathan and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Bryce, Jaylynn, Lilliana, Coby, Braden, Amber, Cristal, Lily and Samuel; and his brothers, Eric Despres of New Brunswick and Guillaume Despres of Quebec. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
