It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert V. Cooley of Gardner, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 19, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Cooley and Mildred Cooley (Drew); his wife Mary L. Cooley (Shea); and his brothers, Edward and Ronald Cooley.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Holgerson (Les) of Hubbardston, Brenda Guarnieri of Florida and Thomas Cooley of Essex Junction, Vermont; his grandchildren, Karly, Katie, Kyle Holgerson, Lindsey, Nicholas Kisiel, Anthony Guarnieri and Alison Adams; his great grandchildren, Mia Rodriguez and Aliza Adams; and his brother James Cooley of Maine. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
