He was predeceased by: his parents, James N. Kotsonas and Georgia Kotsonas (Wourgiotis); his siblings, Nicholas Kotsonas and Frances Mills; and his niece Shelley Molleur.

He is survived by: his daughters, Katelyn Nieves (Hector Nieves) of Saint Marys, GA and Ashley Kotsonas (Evelyn Beltron) of Lowell; his sister Elaine Molleur (Claude Molleur) of West Brookfield; his grandchildren, Michael, Mariah, Jaythan and Nya; the mother of his children Susan Kotsonas; his fiancée Deborah Lane; his fiancée's daughter Cecelia; and his sibling's children, Katie Molleur, Rebecca Caruso, James Kotsonas and Mike Caruso. He is also survived by 2 great nephews, 6 great nieces.
