Anne L. Watson Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Anne Watson, who left us peacefully on June 27, 2025, surrounded by love and family.

Born and raised in Gloucester, Anne brought joy, laughter, and an adventurous spirit to everyone who knew her. She was full of life — always up for a good laugh, a spontaneous trip, a lucky hand at the slots, and spending time with her beloved cats.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, David Watson. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories, sharing a deep bond, a love of travel, and creating countless cherished moments together.

Above all, Anne was a devoted and loving mother to her two children, Lisa Wonson and Chris Jedrey. Her humor, generosity, and unwavering support will forever live on in them. She had a remarkable way of making everyone feel special and seen.

Anne is now at peace and reunited with her beloved siblings who passed before her: Harry Bammarito and wife Ida, Catherine Francis and husband Frank, Jimmy Bammarito, Mary Brazier and husband Bob, Faye Curcuru and husband Sammy, Frances Susanno and husband Leo, Josephine Fulham and husband Frank and Angela Borge and husband Normie. She leaves behind one surviving brother, Joseph Bammarito and wife Liz of Vermont.

She also leaves behind her brothers-in-law, Warren Watson and wife Deidre, and Frank Watson, Jr. and wife Pat. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will continue to carry her memory with love.

Anne will be deeply missed by all who knew her and forever remembered for the light, laughter, and love she brought into our lives.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Ann's Church, 74 Pleasant Street, Gloucester, MA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
