Barbara J. Trioli Obituary
Barbara J. (Thompson) Trioli, 72, of Gloucester, MA wife of Richard C. Trioli passed away on September 10, 2023, at Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Gloucester on March 29, 1951, daughter of the late John A. and Mary E. (Strople) Thompson.
Barbara was a graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1969. She worked for over 28 years as head accounting supervisor at Addison Gilbert now Beth Israel Lahey.
She was a Life and Loyal member of the Moose Lodge, where she was Deputy Grand Regent for Moose International and Senior Regent for Women of the Moose Chapter 896 and was the recorder for the Women of the Moose. She made many friends over the years at the Moose Lodge.
In her spare time, she enjoyed volunteering for the Women of the Moose and playing on the Moose dart league.
She loved going to Moose conventions and vacationing with her husband Richard, her most favorite place to vacation was Aruba.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Barbara is survived by her companion and husband of 53 years, Richard C. Trioli; daughter, Charleen Toews, and her husband Robert; 4 grandchildren, Brenda Munroe, Kirsten Munroe, Ryan Allen, and Reece Allen; 2 great-grandchildren, Kyrie Munroe, and Ivy Cooper; her brother, John D. Thompson; her 3 stepchildren, Marie Vargas, Beth Cassesse and Michael Trioli; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She will be greatly missed by her loyal and loving dogs Ember and Molly.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Michelle Trioli Allen; brothers, Russell and Patrick Thompson.
Visiting hours in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester, MA will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
