Carole A. Smith Obituary

Carole A. Smith, 79, of Gloucester wife of David B. Smith passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Seacoast Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was the daughter of the late James H. Meuse Jr. and Bernice (Rowe) Meuse of Gloucester.

Carole was a graduate of Gloucester High School. She worked for several years at Gorton's of Gloucester as an administrative assistant. She enjoyed gardening, yard work and feeding the hummingbirds.

Carol is survived by her husband of 57 years, David B. Smith; son, Sean; cousin, Judy Melanson and her husband James and several other cousins.

In keeping with her wishes, services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
