In loving memory of Dale H. McCalla of Gloucester, Massachusetts, who departed this world on June 10, 2025 at the age of 78. Dale leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert McCalla and Margaret McCalla (Paterson); his son Adam McCalla; and his sister Judy Zehe. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne McCalla (Fuchs) of Gloucester; his daughter Amy Clancy (Michael Simpson) of Gloucester; his grandchildren, Nicholas Paige of Gloucester, Benjamin Paige (Megan) of Maine, Aiden and Ethan Phejarasai of Malden; his great grandchildren, Evelyn and Russell Paige; and also Annie.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ann's Church (Holy Family Parish) (74 Pleasant St, Gloucester, MA 01930). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery (128 Pine St, Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA 01944).
Contributions may be made in Dale's memory to Kaplan Family Hospice House, 75 Sylvan Street, Danvers or Holy Family Parish, 74 Pleasant Street, Gloucester.
