He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank L. Cox and Annabell MacAuley Cox of Gloucester, MA.; his grandson Tyler M. Cox; and his siblings, Frank Cox, Norman Cox, Theo Lovell, Louise Ingham, Christine Lane, Blanche Shaw and Marjorie Champagne.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly A. Cox of Gloucester, MA, Alison L. Cox (Michael P. O'Dea) of Gloucester, MA and David M. Cox of Sag Harbor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
