Dennis W. MacKillop Sr. Obituary

Dennis W. MacKillop Sr., 76, of Gloucester, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at the Addison Gilbert Hospital.

He worked for several years at Centerville Gas station in Beverly, later at Grey Cliff Nursing Home in the laundry department and finally at Capt. Joe and Son's Seafood.

Dennis enjoyed going to Foxwoods and playing bingo at St. Ann's Church Hall with his wife Kathy. He also liked watching game shows and working on his computer. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Dennis leaves behind his children, Ann Marie Palmer and her husband Dwight and Denny MacKillop and his wife Jen; grandchildren, Yasmine Burdulis, Sameera Arif, and Dennis Turner; great-grandchildren, Damien Silva-Boudreau, Nathan Burdulis, and Alyia Burdulis; brothers, Gerald MacKillop and his wife Debbie, Cliffy MacKillop, Ronnie Hurst; sister, Sally Simpson; his brother's and sister's-in-law, Mary Dennis, Scott Guyer and his wife Debbie, Bucky Saunders and his wife Mary; and, as well as numerous aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and close relatives.

He was predeceased by his wife, Kathryn A. (Guyer) MacKillop; son, Stephen Mackillop; his parents, John MacKillop and Hope (Smith) Manninen; brothers, David MacKillop, and Mickey MacKillop; brothers-in-law, Paul Guyer, Donnie Guyer and George Guyer; sister, Susie Jones; sisters-in-law, Donna Guyer, and Bea Saunders.

In keeping with his wishes there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be in his name to a charity of one's choice.
