It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald P. Knowles of Gloucester, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 22, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Parker B. Knowles and Evelyn M. Knowles (Firth); his siblings, Robert "Stubby", Rosco "Peany" Knowles, Marilyn Gallant and Karen Cabral; and his stepchildren, Beth Jackson (Ed Dahlmer) and Jon MacDonald.

He is survived by : his wife Sylvia D. Knowles (Mackey); his son Steven Knowles (Caroline); his grandchildren, Nicole, Alex Dahlmer, Gage, Chaz and Vance Knowles; his stepchildren, Rick, Chris and James MacDonald; and his stepgrandchildren, Brian, Tyler, Julie and Chris MacDonald Jr..

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Care Dimensions: Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St. Danvers, MA 01923.
