She was born in Gloucester, MA on December 8, 1942, the daughter of the late Carlton and Shirley (Hooper) Pelletier. On February 6, 1965, she married Michael Spinola, and together they created a beautiful life with their two daughters and six grandchildren. She loved celebrating the holidays and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Doreen loved to travel with her husband and enjoyed the many trips they took with their close friends. She also looked forward to their annual trip to Aruba. She was an active member of the Our Lady Women's Guild. Doreen had many close friendships and always cherished her Tuesday morning breakfasts with the "coffee shop group" as well as their evenings sitting on the boulevard. Her warmth touched everyone who knew her.
