He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Francis Zawacki and Vivian Rebecca Zawacki (Bragg); his brother Michael Alan Zawacki; his grandson Justin Alexander McLaine; his parents-in-law, Mary Fulford (Mairi) and Robert Fulford; and his brothers-in-law, Bruce, Scott Fulford and David Aptt.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Joan Zawacki (Fulford); his daughters, Coreen Elizabeth McLaine of Beverly and Amy Beth (Jonathan Ryan) of Hamilton; his siblings, Paula Whitney (Wayne), Bruce Zawacki (Debby), Daniel Zawacki and Judi Lover (Richard); his grandchildren, Ashley Ahern, Julia Bird, Samuel, Kyle, Benjamin McLaine and Eloise Ryan; his siblings-in-law, Lisa Aptt (Fulford), Robert, Frank and Brian Fulford; and his pets, Molly, Chloe and Lily. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Dolliver Cemetery (12 Lincoln St, Gloucester, MA 01930).
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Cape Ann Animal Aid or The Open Door food pantry, both of Gloucester.
