With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ellen Sibley of Gloucester, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ellen left this world on April 21, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton "Dunk" Sova and Marilyn Sova (Bean); and her siblings, Pete Sova and Rochelle Prendergast. She is survived by: her husband George Sibley; her daughter Brynn Sibley of Somerville; her siblings, Barbara Virgilio, Clayton Sova of Gloucester, Tim Sova of Gloucester and Mike Sova; and her sisters-in-law, Liz Fletcher, Anne Horsley of Scotland, Mern Sibley of Gloucester and Kate Sibley.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (48 Middle St, Gloucester, MA 01930).
Contributions in Ellen's memory may be made to the Open Door Food Pantry, the Rocky Neck Cultural Center and the Schooner Adventure.
