Frederick C. Nasser Obituary

Fred Nasser, 84, of Gloucester, husband of Susan (Herrick) Nasser passed away on March 1st surrounded by his family.

Fred was born in Gloucester and was a Gloucester Fire Fighter for 21 years along with being a #1 Lumper.

An avid hunter, he enjoyed the woods of Maine with many friends and his sons.

In addition to his wife Susan, Fred is survived by his four sons, John and wife Wendy, Steve and wife Wendy, Bobby and wife Michelle, Ed and his companion; step-daughter, Jaime and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Lindsey, Hannah, Kayla, Jared, Derrick, Brandy, Bailey; step-grandchildren, Aila, Olivia, Ave and Jacob; his brother, Ed and wife Sharon of Florida; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Fred was predeceased by his parents, John and Helen Nasser, his sister, Marilyn LeBlanc and nephew, Joey LeBlanc.

In keeping with his wishes there will be a Celebration of his Life at the Gloucester Elks Lodge on Tuesday, April 9th from 1 to 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to the Cape Ann Animal Aid, 4 Paws Lane, Gloucester, MA 01930.
