With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gayle Silva of Gloucester, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 9, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Gayle is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gayle's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Butler and Beatriz Butler (Amor) of Topsfield; and her sister Linda Butler. She is survived by: her children, Matt Hatch of Maine, Lynn Silva (Daniel Parsons) of Gloucester and Andrea Silva of New Hampshire; her grandchildren, Sophia Parsons of Billerica, Ella, Alanah Oliveira of Gloucester, Bentley Parsons and Mena Silva of New Hampshire; and her siblings, David (Cindy Butler) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Rick (Debbie Butler) of Kingston, NH and Diane (Ken Roberts) of Myrtle Beach, SC. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
