He was predeceased by: his father Lance R. Dale; his siblings, Lance Dale and Donna Dyment (Dale); and his nieces, Tiffany Kline and Bethany Dale.

He is survived by: his significant other Anne Dale (Hall); his sons, Steven (Laura), Brett (Natasha) and Colby; his grandsons, Phillip, William, Elliot, Isaiah and Carter Dale; his sisters, Mary Kline (Larry Kline) and Sharon Dale (John Movalli); and his sister-in-law Sharon Dale of Palm Dale, CA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
