Jeffrey K. Hein Obituary

Jeffrey K. Hein, 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 1, 2025. He was born to Kenneth Hein and Pauline (St. Germaine) E. Hein on January 30, 1953, in Worchester, MA. He was very proud in Ipswich High School of his 3-letter varsity status. He graduated in 1971 as an honor student.

He belonged to Boy Scouts of America, learning and passing on many skills. He got a perfect score on his civil service exam. He was employed by Portsmouth Navy Yard as a marine machinist.

His hobbies were collecting and personally writing to many famous sports figures, trading and also collecting memorabilia. He wrote monthly articles for Sports Collectors Weekly Magazine. He was able to get autographs and photographs at no cost.

He was a favorite "Uncle Jeff" to his several nieces and nephews, thereby inspiring each individual to excel in life, keep a strong faith, and have fullness of understanding.

We, my brother Ted Hein and his favorite sister, me Pat Gaudet, will miss him.
