Jill E. Doucette Obituary

Jill E. Doucette, 42, of Gloucester and Ocean Springs, MS, passed away at her family home on Friday afternoon, October 22, 2021.

She was born in Gloucester on September 23, 1979, the much loved daughter of Jane (Doucette) Selig and the late Bruce Goodick.

Although Jill had many struggles during her life, she will always be remembered as a hard working, funny, smart, loyal, and loving person.

Her passing will leave an empty space in the hearts of all who loved her.

She is survived by her parents, Jane and Dean Selig; brothers, Peter Allen and Zackery Selig; and daughters, Miah and Rachael. She is also survived by her great aunt and godmother, Elizabeth Sampson; uncles Jack O'Hanley, Peter Doucette, Jim Doucette and his wife Lisa, and Earl Selig, Jr.; aunt, Susan Dieffenbacher and her husband Wayne; partner, Justin Edwards and his parents, Bruce and Sherrill; and many cousins.

She was predeceased by her father, Bruce Goodick; her grandparents, Walden and Sally Doucette; and aunt, Kathryn McCarthy.
