She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett J. Saulnier and Cecelia G. "CeCe" Saulnier Silva (Flaherty); her husband William H. "Snook" Shields; her sister Catherine Oliver; her siblings-in-law, Virginia Saulnier and Thomas Rose; her great grandchild Kiersten Fountain; and her nephew David P. "Sully" Sullivan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra (Kenneth Munroe Sr.) and Cheryl (Thomas Vaiarella Sr.); her grandchildren, Nicole (Steven Fountain), Kenneth Munroe, Jr., Natalie Munroe (Brian Prior), Colson Munroe, Michael Vaiarella (Caroline) and Thomas Vaiarella, Jr. (Olivia Saraf); her great grandchildren, Haleigh, Adam, Dennis Guzofski Jr., Emma, Maximillian Munroe, Jaxon, Nina Prior, Dylan and Connor Fountain; her great great grandchild Grayson Kincaid; and her siblings, Mary Rose and Everett Saulnier. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
