Judith M. Pierce Obituary
Judith M. (Lowe) Pierce, 88 of Gloucester, beloved wife of J. William "Bill" Pierce passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 1st, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Gloucester, MA on May 12, 1937, daughter of the late Russell Lowe and Helen (Mitchell) Lowe. She attended Gloucester Public Schools and married her sweetheart, Bill with whom she shared 70 years of marriage.
Judy's greatest joy was the time she spent with her family and friends. She and Bill treasured their winters in Florida and always looked forward to returning home in the spring. Judy had a lifelong passion for gardening, loved spending time at the beach, and enjoyed listening to music. Strolling leisurely together, Bill and she were frequently spotted enjoying their daily walk on Stacey Boulevard. She took pleasure in traveling throughout the country and abroad with Bill and often with her sisters, her daughter, Kelly as well as her nieces, Donna and Karen of San Diego.
Judy will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her quiet strength, and the gentle, welcoming presence that made every person she met feel at home.
In addition to her husband Bill, she is survived by her six children: Mike Pierce, Chris Pierce and his wife Pam, Steve Pierce and his wife Susan, Dave Pierce and his wife Joan, Tim Pierce and his wife Missy, and Kelly Rizzo. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jamie, John, Cori, Tom, Willy, Andy, Jeff, Anthony, Jack and Clay. She was predeceased by her grandson, Matthew.
Her surviving family members include her sisters, Patricia Luster of San Diego, CA, Marjorie Beylard of Gloucester, MA and her partner, Neil Collesidis along with her brother, Russell Lowe, Jr. of Post Falls, IA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her brother, Tom Lowe and sister, Valerie Bazzani.
