Kim M. Verga Obituary

Kim M. Verga (Rogers), 68, of Gloucester, wife of the late Ronald (Bamm) Rogers, suddenly passed away on Thursday August 27, 2026, at home surrounded by her immediate family.

Kim was born in Gloucester on September 15, 1957, daughter of the late Philip Verga Sr. and Mary Verga (Baptiste). In her earlier years, she worked many jobs, notably working on the production line at Gorton's of Gloucester, as well as working as a home health aide. She truly enjoyed helping people in need, her door was always open to anyone who needed assistance. If she could help, she'd be the first to lend a hand. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Kim is survived by her child, Desiree Rogers; grandchildren, Faith Rivera and her significant other David Obrien, Tahj-Philip Rivera, and Dakota Dunn; siblings, Joanne Giovinco, Philip Verga Jr, Dominic Verga, Corrine Robbins and her husband Kyle; nephews, Dominic Giovinco, Frank Giovinco, Pietro Giovinco Jr. and his wife, Courtney Giovinco, Nathaniel Araujo, Jacob & Joseph Souza, Trey Yannone; nieces, Stephanie Belcher and her husband James; great-nieces and nephews, Aunnabella Giovinco, Amrious Giovinco, Averian Giovinco, Gianna Giovinco, and Sabrina Giovinco, as well as many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.

Kim was predeceased by her husband Ronald (Bamm) Rogers; brother, Pietro Giovinco Sr.; mother Mary J. Verga (Baptiste); father Philip S. Verga Sr.; aunts Geraldine Souza, and Teresa Trulove, as well as many other passed loved ones whom she held in her heart.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Ann's Church on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.
