Mary G. Sullivan Obituary
Mary M. (Giammanco) Sullivan, 95, of Gloucester, passed into eternal life on October 2, 2023. She was born and raised in Gloucester, daughter of the late Philip and Rose (Frontierro) Giammanco. She married the love of her life Gerard "Jerry" Sullivan and remained so until his death in 1998.
Mary was a nurse her entire life till retirement. Raised her family in Brockton, Ma., then moved to Jupiter, Florida for many years eventually returning to her beloved Gloucester.
She had a marvelous life lived on her own terms, loved travel, golf and attending theatre. We have lost the true force of nature and will be forever missed and in our hearts forever.
She leaves behind her 3 children; Philip, Daniel and Maureen, also her five grandchildren; Stephanie, Zachary, Philip, Mary and Catherine. She also leaves her five great grandchildren; Myla, Evie, Madison, Sean and Scarlett. She also leaves her younger sister, Catherine Street Giammanco, nephews and nieces; Steve and Gina Bertolino, John and Lisa Bertolino, Josiah and Jessica Bertolino and many other friends and family.
Mary's visiting hours will be held on, Friday, October 6, 2023, from 4-7pm in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Her burial will be held at a later date privately in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. with her husband.
